Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani is turning out to be an unofficial ambassador for the Indian film industry.

Recently, his party colleague and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje took some time out of managing the affairs of her state to watch Khakee after the assembly was adjourned sine die.

But rather than enjoy it alone, she invited all the state's legislators to the special screening of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer in a multiplex in capital Jaipur followed by dinner.

"Advaniji had recommended the movie and I decided that it should be a group outing. It is a movie about politicians, cops and scribes, and I had invited all of them for the show," she told reporters.

She is now planning to organise screenings of other movies like The legend of Bhagat Singh, Border and LoC for the legislators.

What more can the film industry ask for?
