A two-and-a-half-year-old boy, a close relative of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, was kidnapped from Civil Lines area in Etawah district on Saturday night, police said.

The boy had gone out with a servant in the evening and did not return home, the police said, adding that a case of kidnapping had been registered.
