Kalpakkam nuke plant may be affected December 27, 2004 22:52 IST Last Updated: December 27, 2004 23:14 IST The facilities at the Kalpakkam nuclear power plant in Tamil Nadu may have been affected by the tidal waves, a spokesman of the Prime Minister's Office said on Monday night. Information reaching New Delhi suggested that facilities at the nuclear station might have been affected by the waves, the spokesman said. He said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will, on Tuesday, review the damage caused to the plant. Singh will chair a meeting at 1100 IST, the spokesman added.
