A naval Sea Harrier aircraft crash-landed at the Dabolim airport in Vasco in Goa on Thursday, Indian Navy sources said.

There were no casualties, they said.

The aircraft was on a routine flight and crash-landed at around 10 am. The pilot bailed out safely, the sources said.

The cause of the mishap was not known immediately. The navy has set up a high-level inquiry to look into the matter, they added.

Airport officials at Mumbai said all commercial flights from and to Goa will be delayed till the Dabolim airport runway is cleared.
