Sonia invites Rabri for dinner

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has invited Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi for dinner on Thursday at her 10 Janpath residence in New Delhi.

Sources at 1, Anne Marg, which is the Bihar chief minister's official residence, said Rabri Devi will attend the dinner with her husband and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, who heads the Rashtriya Janata Dal.

Sources said Sonia Gandhi is likely to discuss the possibility of an alliance with the RJD for the ensuing assembly elections in Bihar, due in February next year.
