Mohini Bhardwaj, 25, Olympics silver medallist, was voted India Abroad Person of the Year 2004.

Bhardwaj, who along with Cuban-born Annia Hatch was the oldest woman in 40 years to compete in Olympic gymnastics, captained the young team to a silver medal in Athens.
