BJP to decide Bharti's fate on Monday August 20, 2004 16:08 IST The Bharatiya Janata Party's parliamentary board will meet on Monday to consider whether Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti should resign in the wake of issuance of a non-bailable warrant against her by a court in Hubli in Karnataka.
Asked whether the party could ask Bharti to step down, she said: "She (Uma) has already conveyed to the party her willingness to accept any decision the party takes in this regard.
