Suburban rail traffic on Mumbai's western line was disrupted on Friday afternoon when motormen went on a flash protest against an attack on one of their colleagues.

Western Railway spokesman Shailendra Kumar, however, said the strike had no impact on services.

A source said only a few motormen were sitting on a dharna at the Churchgate station.

They are protesting against the attack on a colleague in suburban Nalasopara on Wednesday.
