SC relaxes guarantee amount for Hindujas

The Supreme Court on Thursday reduced the amount of the bank guarantees imposed on the three Hinduja brothers in connection with the Bofors payoffs case.

From the Rs 15 crore each fixed earlier, the brothers will have to deposit Rs five crore each in the apex court within six weeks. The court had fixed the guarantees when the brothers sought permission to travel abroad.
