Blast at Baghdad hotel kills one, wounds two

A bomb explosion at a hotel central Baghdad housing employees of the US television network NBC killed a worked and injured two people on Thursday.

A new agency quoted a police official, Karim Mariush, saying the blast occurred in the generator room of the Aike Hotel. Witnesses said two other people, including a foreign journalist, were wounded.

The blast damaged the generator room and the basement of the hotel and shattered.
