SC notice to UP govt on POTA charges against Raja Bhaiya

The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to the Uttar Pradesh government asking it to explain the steps taken by it recently to withdraw charges framed against member of legislative assembly Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya under the Prevention of Terrorism Act. 

POTA was invoked against Raja Bhaiya by the previous government led by Mayawati.
