VHP does not want Vajpayee as PM again

September 06, 2003 19:09 IST

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Saturday made it clear that it does not favour another term for Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Speaking to reporters in Jammu, VHP international president Ashok Singhal said Vajpayee has weakened the country and has shown little regard for the Hindu sentiment.

He warned of a 'dangerous reaction' across the country if Ram temple was not allowed to be built at the disputed site in Ayodhya.

Singhal revealed that the VHP has drawn a ten-point agenda and any political party endorsing it will receive the organisation's unstinted support.
