Nobody warms the hearts of Maharashtrians like Lord Ganesha, who is worshipped before the start of any enterprise, domestic or professional.

During the 10-day Ganesh festival, thousands of the Lord's idols are made in every size, pose, form and colour and worshipped in thousands of homes.

The appropriately named Vinayak Prabhu of Kalasa village in Maharashtra's Sindhudurg district gives final touches to a Ganesh idol that he has made for the festival.
