Eminent cartoonist R K Laxman, hospitalised in Pune after a paralytic stroke last week, is showing improvement, doctors attending on him said on Thursday.

His blood pressure and other health parameters are normal and he is being administered renal diet, doctors said.
 
There is no fever, they added.

Laxman suffered a paralytic attack Saturday last.
