The 7.62 bore cartridges, meant for AK-47 assault rifles, were found from the abandoned truck at Dhabitola locality, Kolkata Police Commissioner Sujoy Chakarabarty told reporters. "We have sent the cartridges to forensic experts," he said. "We have begun investigations and hope to unravel the truth soon," the police commissioner said and added there was no immediate evidence that the consignment came from militant bases in Bangladesh.
