Apna Dal merges with Samajwadi Party October 24, 2003 20:30 IST Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Friday got a shot in the arm with the state unit of the Apna Dal merged with his party. The Apna Dal, headed by Atiq Ahmad, has three MLAs. They will take the SP's strength in the 403-member house to 190.
