One killed in Srinagar grenade attack

One person was killed and several injured when militants hurled a grenade at a security picket in the busy Lal Chowk area in Srinagar on Thursday.

The grenade missed the target and exploded a little distance away from the Border Security Force bunker.

The injured have been taken to a hospital. The area has been cordoned off and combing operations have been launched.
