EU-India Summit may be cancelled

November 27, 2003 23:07 IST

The European Union-India Summit may be cancelled following Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's decision Thursday night to call off his visit to India following a gastrointestinal problem.

Berlusconi, currently European Council president, was to lead the EU delegation.

However, the two-day EU-India Business Summit slated from Friday is expected to go ahead.
