Designs for 9/11 memorial unveiled

Eight designs for a memorial to the nearly 3,000 victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks in the United States were unveiled in New York.

They are on display near the place where the World Trade Center once stood.

A 13-member panel chose the eight from 5,201 designs submitted. The final design will be chosen by the end of the year.
