Law Programmes at National University

LLB/LLM/MPhil Programmes at the WB National University of Juridical Sciences

The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences invites applications for admission to the following
programmes:

A. BSc/BA, LLB (Honours)

Eligibility: Higher Secondary (10+2 system) or an equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with at least 35% marks in each of the core subjects and English language.

Age: Not exceeding 21 years on December 31, 2004. For SC/ST candidates, maximum age limit is 22 years. Candidates appearing for their qualifying examination can also apply. Their admission, however, will be provisional and subject to obtaining the defined eligibility by August 31, 2004.

B. LLM: Eligibility: 50% marks in LLB.

C. MPhil: Eligibility: 50% marks in LLM.

Application Procedure:

Candidates will have to appear for the National Admission Test on January 25, 2004 at Bangalore, Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai and Ranchi.

How to Apply:

Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Institute on payment of Rs 400 by DD drawn in favour of National University of Juridical Sciences, payable at Kolkata.

Application form and prospectus can also be obtained by post by sending a DD of Rs 450 drawn in favour of National University of Juridical Sciences, payable at Kolkata.

Applications in the prescribed form should be submitted to the Registrar, The National University of Juridical Sciences, 12 LB Block, Sector III, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700098 on or before December 15, 2003.
