The Special Investigation Team that is probing the stamp paper scam searched Joint Commissioner of Police (Intelligence) Sridhar Vagal's office on Monday night, police said in Mumbai.

The team seized a lot of documents after searching Vagal's office at the Maharashtra Police Headquarters in Colaba, they said.

A lot of incriminating material was found from Vagal's car the day he was arrested.
