Human trafficking: Another singer in police net November 03, 2003 15:36 IST The Patiala police on Monday arrested Punjabi folk singer Sukhwinder Singh alias 'Sukha Delhi' for charges of illegal human trafficking. Also see: Delhi HC rejects Daler's bail petition The case against 'Sukha Delhi has been registered on the complaint of a resident of Noorkhedi village near Patiala. The singer, said the police, was arrested while allegedly receiving the final installment of Rs 800,000 from the complainant Balbir Singh, a senior police officer told PTI on phone from Chandigarh. According to police, Mann had promised to take the complainant abroad after finalising a marriage alliance for him with a girl in the US.
