In keeping with court directives, danseuse Mallika Sarabhai Saturday presented herself at the Naranpura police station, where a case of alleged cheating has been registered against her.

Sarabhai surrendered her passport to the police, as per the court order.

The district and sessions court on October 29 had granted her anticipatory bail and directed her to remain present at the police station November 1 between 10 am and noon.

"She surrendered her passport and is co-operating with the police," the investigating official at the police station, M K Kataria, told media persons.

But he refused to divulge details pertaining to investigations in the case.
