1 killed, 33 injured in Doda blast

One person was killed and 33 injured on Monday in a powerful explosion at a bus stand in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources said in Jammu.

Some militants hurled a grenade at the Doda bus stand, which exploded near a passenger bus at 1155 IST, the sources told PTI.

The explosion rocked the entire town. Soon after the blast, security forces cordoned off the entire area, they said.

The bus stand about 50 metres from the offices of the Deputy Commissioner of the district and the Senior Superintendent of Police.
