Sonia's J&K visit called off Onkar Singh in New Delhi | May 03, 2003 11:28 IST All India Congress Committee chief Sonia Gandhi's three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir was called off on Saturday on account of foul weather. "We can confirm that the Congress president is not coming to Jammu and Kashmir. Her trip has been called off due to bad weather. A new date for her trip to the state would be announced later," a senior Congress leader told rediff.com on phone from Jammu. The entire north India was under a thick cloud of dust on Saturday morning following a storm, making it difficult for aircraft to land or take-off.
