Salmi, Kuwait: Members of the Peninsula Shield Force break for lunch.
The 10,000 strong unit has soldiers from member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council -- Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait.
It defends the joint border of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq.
