Three more arrested for Godhra

Three persons allegedly involved in the 2002 Godhra carnage have been arrested in the Kevadiya town, police said in Vadodara on Tuesday.

Shaukat Alias Bhano Pataliya, Rafique Ahmed Ibhrahim alias Bum, and Habib alias Badshah were allegedly part of the mob that attacked the S-6 coach of the Sabarmati Express in which 59 Ram sevaks were burnt alive and 43 injured.

Pataliya was arrested on Monday from Kevadiya located near the Sardar Sarovar dam.

Rafique and Habib are involved in some other cases too, the police said.
