Bharatiya Janata Party president M Venkaiah Naidu has declared he would not accept any further responsibility after the accomplishment of Mission 2004, victory in the general election.

"He is totally contended and committed to seeing the party returning to power with a comfortable majority on its own and the continuance of the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) experiment," a party release said to mark Naidu's one year in office on Tuesday.

It quoted him as saying that the president presides and the committee decides.
