PG Programme in Global Business Operations at SRCC

The Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, invites applications for admission to its two-year fulltime Postgraduate Programme in Global Business Operations, a specialized course in Management of International Business.

The programme deals with issues of management in areas of Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Trade, Marketing, and Information Technology in the context of International Business.

Eligibility: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination may also apply.

Admission Procedure: Candidates will have to appear for a written test on February 15, 2004 at Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Lucknow. Admission to the programme is based on the performance of the candidate in the written test, group discussion and interview.

Information brochure and application form can be obtained from the Section Officer (Administration), Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, Delhi 110007 between 1000 hours and 1600 hours on payment of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ST candidates) by cash/DD.

Application forms can also be obtained by post by sending a self-addressed slip and a DD of Rs 650 (Rs 350 for SC/ST candidates) in favour of the Principal, Shri Ram College of Commerce payable at the State Bank of India, service branch code number 7687. 

Last date for receipt of completed application forms: January 14, 2004.

Hindi Correspondence Courses

The Department of Correspondence Courses, Central Hindi Directorate, invites applications from Non-Hindi speaking employees of the Central Government/Public Undertakings/Statutory Bodies/Kendriya Vidyalayas for admission to the Prabodh, Praveen and Pragya Hindi Course through correspondence.

These courses are the same as conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and are based on the same syllabus and textbooks etc. Examination to these courses is held under the aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs and they also award certificates. This Directorate does not conduct Pragya Banking Hindi Course.

Admission Fee: A fee of Rs 50 is charged at the time of admission for the course, which should be remitted in the form of Bank Draft/IPO drawn in favour of the Director, Central Hindi Directorate payable at New Delhi/Delhi. Applications received without prescribed fee will not be entertained. Fee sent through Money Order/Cheque will not be accepted. Fee is neither refundable nor adjustable. (Prescribed Examination Fee will be charged separately.) Medium of instruction for these courses is English only.

Closing Date: Applications dully filled in, must be routed through the employer duly recommended and must reach the Directorate by December 31, 2003.

There is no provision of supplying application form. Applications must be sent in the prescribed pro forma on plain paper with fee duly forwarded by the authorized departmental officer to the Deputy Director, Department of Correspondence Courses, Central Hindi Directorate, West Block-7, RK Puram, New Delhi 110066.
