Delhi woman sacrifices child to cure ailment

The Delhi police have arrested a woman and her relative on charges of sacrificing a two-and-half-year-old child. The woman, Satish, allegedly killed Rahul on December 6 in Nangloi area of west Delhi after a tantrik suggested that she sacrifice a child to be cured of an ailment, police said. Pawan, her nephew, who allegedly first tried to stop her from committing the crime, later gave in and concealed the fact. The two were arrested on Wednesday night.
