On Wednesday afternoon tragedy struck the Kumbh Mela at Nashik when a stampede claimed the lives of 39 pilgrims and injured more than 70.
Here a man injured in the stampede is being treated at the Nashik Civil Hospital. Nashik is approximately 187 kilometres north of Mumbai.
