April 30, 2003 20:28 IST

Air-India on Wednesday cancelled two of its services from the Kochi international airport, located at nearby Nedumbassery, following the strike by a section of the pilots.

The flights are Kochi-Dubai-Abu Dhabi-Muscat and the Kochi-Abu Dhabi-Muscat flights, A-I sources said in Kochi.

Meanwhile, a meeting was held on Wednesday to appraise the arrangements for detecting possible SARS-affected passengers at the airport.
