Your Views:My dearest Indian residents: I am just a normal American resident, just like millions of other regular "Americans". I have been reading your countries papers for a little while now, just to see what you think of us Americans. You're right! You really are...we the USA need to stay out of other countries business, we need to mind our own business. We need to stop sending 60 Billion US dollars every year out to needy countries, we need to stop sending 120 Billion tons of food to starving children and adults all over the world. we need to stop telling Sadam to not kill his own people, or his own neighbors, we need to stop trying to get nuclear weapons off this world. We need to stop all of it. Yes, we used the first nuclear weapon in war...but it saved millions of human lives to stop a war that was going to get worse, yes we used chemical weapons in Vietnam. And we are paying for it with thousands of stillborn children every year due to chemicals in our fathers blood lines. You say 9-11 was "justified" how barbaric of you! we at least try not to kill innocent people in war. We TRY very hard...every one of those "smart bombs" we drop costs us $100,000. Hey! Why not just carpet bomb. There only $300.00 apiece. But ...you are all right, the USA needs to stay out of world issues, and let the middle east kill themselves, let Sadam bomb Israel, let Pakistan Nuke all there neighbors, We need to stay out of the Balkans, hell let them all rape and kill, and mutilate themselves, We should have stayed out of the war with Germany too...just let Hitler kill all people. We need to let every little nation kill every other little nation. And lets go ahead and deport all the middle eastern citizens in the USA back to the home nation...kick them out of our colleges, shut down their stores, Because we are all bad bad American people.

Your Views:Lets stop belching out the emotions and feelings and deal with facts. What has USA done wrong ? Stop regurgiating the Hiroshima crap, leave it to the Japanese, when they are not blaming USA, and they are pretty smart, why are all the poor and illiterate country populations having fits over this ? Japanese are USA's best allies, why ? Because they know, that it was retaliation, and when you attack USA, no law of the world requires exactly equal retaliation, Japanese know, and that's why they don't go beserk on Hiroshima day. Neither were dead 100,000, it was more like 30,000. Yes, value of life of one USA citizen is more than some other country's citizens. Why ? Because the USA govt. puts more value at the loss of their own compared to some other countries and cultures. When 200,000 people each year were dying violent deaths in Afghanistan, continuously for ten years, Afghani govt. wasn't losing any sleep, neither was the ummah, nor any of you pinkos, who are getting emotional fits now, why ? Was that also USA's fault ?

Hope I get that chance :) One should make history not repeat history .. Oh god... Save my country... This world listens to the one who makes niche by himself... Lets us not beg other countries for help. Our population running in crores listen to a bunch of idiotic politicians....Come on.. solve internal issues first Mr. First citizen of India. Your Views:The above views expressed by some of the people are vague, simplistic and without an in-depth understanding of International affairs- just like the Indian Political/Diplomatic Establishment. One of the above says "USA should mind its own business" - if everyone just minds their own business, then why the United Nations - why Global cooperation ? Who would have brought Hitler or the Japanese imperialists to Knees? If India could not get the world opinion together on the Kashmir issue to fight the Pakistanis, it is Indian diplomat's total and utter incompetence- and indian political/defence establishment's impotence !!! Indian diplomats should realize that it does not resolve anything to keep blaming USA or Pak for it's own inaction(except sending millions of troops to threaten Pak). India should not also depend on other's actions but convince the World bodies of what actions it intends to take and why it should take such actions. If USA is able to conduct such a huge campaign in Afghanist and within days of it being attacked - it is only a tribute to USA's diplomacy - mind you, entire world was supporting USA before it attacked Afghanistan - even though it was not a perfect campaign

Your Views:Kashmir or for any other terrorist/naxal problem in India is its own problem, Mostly originated from some sort of In Justice, Wrongs committed by our politicians. so it is very important for india to mobilise good ideas to re-unite all sections of Society and Promote harmony and peace and let all forget about faction-ridden politics for the sake of the Country. USA, for ex.. has the best National Orientation that I have ever seen anywhere else. 9/11.. No Second thought with any citizen/pr here., the country has a single voice. everybody else should understand that they also have democracy and different parties. but soon after the elections are over, nation becomes everybody's priority. once india attains that state, no problems. meanwhile the best thing one can do is to heal as much as possible the wounds made to different sections of our society. do we have the real support from within kashmiri people ? once we get to that point where 90 % kashmir loves india, we don't have to blame pakistan for cross-border activities and don't have to blame usa for not voluntarily helping us. i think the us is doing its best to resolve kashmir issue. i don't see any other way it could do better.

Your Views:Its high time that our government starts to frame & implement its own foreign policy, instead of begging with open hands in the courts of the Americans. we should realize that US is nobodies permanent friend, its foreign policy is based on the simple funda of selfishness & it acts only when its own intrests are in danger. Examples of Afganistan, conflict of Isreal-Palestine, Iraq-Iran war or for that matter our own Kashmir dispute, between India & pakistan, should be sufficient to assess the US policy. History is witness to it that US has never been a permanent friend to anyone except its own intrests. A country that once supplied arms, ammunitions & traning to Osama Bin laden & Saddam Hussain for wagging a war against the Soviets & Iran respectively, are today amongst its most wanted men. The so-called war on Terror has also failed miserably to achieve its objectives, since US has never been sincere in its efforts to oust terror, but its only aim is to establish its bases & consolidate them in every corner of the globe, has the US been sincere in its efforts to wipe off terrorism from the globe, it should'nt have differentiated between the attack on WTC & the Indian Parliament.

So this is an appeal to the worthless politicians of India: Please stop wasting your time and stop wasting the valuable lives of Indians and put an end to this terrorism. Your Views:9/11 does not change anything for India or Pakistan. India should not care about what America thinks or says. We should continue to defend ourselves from the infiltrators from Pakistan. America will not do anything because, if Kashmir is solved, India/Pak will not buy arms anymore. We should do whatever we can to protect ourselves and also to promote harmony among our people. America says that it wants a "regime change" in a Iraq because an "evil dictator" can produce weapons of mass destruction. And Iraq is thousands of miles from USA. Don't we want a "regime change" in Pakistan where an "evil dictator" already has weapons of mass destruction and he is our neighbour and has fought wars with us before. In this case US wants us to show restrain. New Delhi should ignore America just as it ignores us.

Why cant they understand once and for all that their relationship with Pakistan has and will always back-fire and why cant they understand that scores of indians are dying due to terrorism. They r the biggest sef centric nation i have ever heard of. Its time to put an end to Islamic Fundamentalists once and for all. US should try to understand India's problem and that Pakistan will always serve as a haven to Terrorist

If we as Kashmiris considered ourselves Indians, Pakistan couldn't have shaken that in a million years! You hypocritical little b******s! If your family was in the WTC at that time, I can bet my life that you wouldnt make the statements that you do. Imagine a world with no superpower and every country managing on their own. Just imagine...All the 3rd world and underdevloped countries would undergo natural selection and be eliminated. Nations would collapse because of wars. Do you even realise that America does good to and for the world? The food aid? The monetary aid? The determination to resolve disputes? I think you should open your narrow minds to both ends of the spectrum. Look at what America does best and what it does worst. I'm sure that one will outweigh the other and you will find the truth.

Your Views:First of: I condemn attacks on anyone for the name of religion. Be it attack on WTC or Kashmir. It is sad that such an event happened, but then, India has been having such attacks for the last 5 decades and no one cares. I do not blame other countries or the world community for this.. they are busy thinking about their ass. The only people to blame is us - Indians. Why do we have to run after Mr Bush and shed tears for the people he lost. Are we going to do a similar thing in New Delhi in December? I have serious doubts that Mr Bush will come. Why does India not take matters in her own hand and stop calling Mr Bush whenever we have an attack. This is like two small children fighting on the srteets and shouting "Mummy, pappu has killed 10 of my policemen", "Mummy, ramu is threatening me with bomb in my hand". What will mom say? Sorry kids, you should not do this? Comeon Mr Vajpayee, do something.. you are running a nation - you gotta take matters in your hand sometimes.. merely letting others know what your neighbours are doing doesnt help the people who are a part of the mess (kashmiris esp). Also, the media is to blame too. Lets see if Rediff does a december page.

No other country(USA or any one) is going to help, every country have their own agenda and interest in supporting us.look at the kind of suppport US is getting against Iraq, only because every other nation wants a piece of cake in liberated Iraq. Making international pressure is not enough tit for tat should be done to Pakistan. Also India should consolidate it's relationship with like minded countries like Israel.

Your Views:Hi, I would like to send my condolonces to the the berieved family of 9/11 attacks.one should realise how the 9/11 happened. It was America who for their selfish reasons sold ammunitions and guns all over the world and now they are suffering. Why cant America mind their own businss and not try to impose itself on other nations. They talk so much on 9/11. What about the pains America had caused to the families of Iraqi innocent people.Thousands of people died due to bombing.Yes, Saddam did a wrong thing but that doesnt mean it has the rights to kill innocent Iraqi's.Who gave them the rights.Do they make a big deal out of it or does any other nation even bother about it(including the UN)Lives are same and we always see American happenings with big lenses. What about deaths of innocent people in Kashmir, Kosovo, Somalia,Chechnia,Israel, Palestine, its like people die there on a daily basis. Why does no one care about that.It is b,cos are they poor and weaker countries compared to the US. I stiil feel for the 9/11 attak and also all other attacks on innocent people who are dying cos of selfish few. When will we learn & when we will we see everyone with equal eyes

I find it a little amusing and a bit irritating the way we have been going on and on and on about 9/11. Granted, lots of innocent people died but spare a thought for the thousands that have died in kashmir over the past few decades. How about East Timor. In Southern continent of Africa, people are starving. Angola has 1.5 million people suffering from acute malnutrition. In Zambia 2.4 million people face starvation and the country could soon run out of food. Malawai has 3.2 million facing famine. The number goes on and on.There are still people dying thanks to terrorism. Only thing that the war on terrorism did was kill a few afghans. I think it's high time people left WTC and 9/11 behind and get on with their lives. The media should report more serious problems and stop talking about the same thing over and over again. World leaders should concentrate on serious problems such famine,HIV,clean water and stop going crazy over iraq and the other looney bins

Your Views:USA - the egoistic, snobbish & the supreme powers of the world suffered a serious blow to their strength & character by the 9/11 attacks. They have used & manipulated countries across the world for their own defense & financial satisfaction. They supported Afghanistan when USA had a cold war against Russia, then they kicked afghanistan & shook hands with russia - later they turned the tables on pakistan - trying to improve relations with India when they found pakistanis were good for nothing & kashmir became an international issue with India gaining more support from the International society. America needed this blow to make them learn the fact that interfering in other countries affairs, supressing them, manipulating them & dumping them after making use of them cannot escape for their wrath & anguish and they should also know they are not invincible. Hope they leave India & the Kashmir matter alone and approve the fact that terrorism in kashmir is sponsored by pakistan & that if they don't support India's fight against terrorism - even they can bear the consequences in future again. stop terrorism & lower ure ego is what America needs to do & they don't have a choice i guess!

We have to find the root cause of this problem . We have to approve Pakistan as a nation not as a state of India . What they need is the good treatment from us . but we are doing ? we are going against them in all respects . We must learn from US how they are frienlier to Canada & mexico with NAFTA agreement . Whether any politiam have a spin to spell out an agenta how we tackle Pakistan sinster designs ? we must make people to people contact with Pakistan , Bangaladesh , srilanka and Bhutan . we are wasting money in building a armymen in the border without leaning to Peace . We always have supersitions that India is always great and no other country is not . Have ever we respected any country ? No . we never respected and we never given the Friendship treatment . We should revamp our federal struture and make all states are strong . All politicians should come with strong Federal support instead of regional support . Lets hope for the best now . It is learning time for India . we will learn .

Your Views:The US did NOT attack Kuwait and we did not attack for cheap oil prices. Let's not forget that the US may not like it, but they are the world's policeman. Kuwait was fought mainly because someone else had threatened to invade Kuwait and take over their oil and little country. This would have affected the world and given too much power to Saddam Hussein. I have always viewed India with much respect, for many obvious reasons. Let me remind you brothers and sisters that if we ever have a very serious problem, We should recognize that the U.S. will also be our crutch. The leaders of India have to invoke their power of state to the U.S. if they want help, not sit idly by complaining such as this. As far as the person saying 9/11 Was justified- When you face your untimely death, your view will quickly change-I just hope yours is a slow and long one-your view is no different than who perpretrated that horrendous crime. The U.S. does not want India, nor Iraq, nor oil, they are fighting what we most often fail to fight for and that's peace. It's indicated in these messages and simply sickening. Read between the lines brothers and sisters. God Bless everyone-malama ka aina

Your Views:What have we learnt - so much By reading views of some fellow Indians i learnt that Indians like patriotism of Americans. Wake up guys, what about you Indians. Americans love their country inspite of hate crimes, child abuses, racism, discrimination etc etc. Why not you love your country as it is. You want to see change in India and you like america as it is. What happenned to your conscience. Some one likes america because of jobs and inspite of unemployment rate of 5.1% foreigners get jobs here- Excuse me 90% of this 5.1% are non americans who are on work visas. I came to US because i could not sustain heavy competition in India and i knew that it is easy to get around here. You get jobs by showing false experience here but not in India. We still say India is corrupted. Corruption in India is visible but here it is not. There is corruption at every level even in USA. Keep reading news papers and then you will have new definition of what corruption is. US foreign policy never favoured India. Indians in US have never bothered to raise their voice against US policies. Come out openly when something is not right. Stop pointing towards India for everything that is wrong.

Your Views:India should do away with Parties like BJP,Congress and allies. They are totally impotent parties devoid of any foreign or domestic policies. All they can think is how to plunder the country. We need a movement greater in proportion than the Independence movement to get ourselves rid of this malady that has crept in our politics and day to day life. BJP came to power promising that it will be a party with a difference. Can anybody tell me what our PM ABV has done in the past 3 years ? Has a single policy announced by the Govt reached the common people ? If not then how can we assume that this Govt is capable of solving the Kashmir problem. We have already sold ourselves to US. Kashmir which managed to remain in a close can for 50 years has suddenly become equivalent to Palestine. So who is to be blamed ? Frankly, we do not have any statesman anywhere near the horizon who can take a bold step to sovle the kashmir tangle and other problems that face India today. I feel ashamed when I see how shamelessly the so called newspapers like TOI give so much importance to any trivil american news. What we need to learn from Americans is not their culture but their Governance.

While I was in India, I had the dream to visit States because of the teachnology it produce. But I was wrong. All the technology America have, comes from India, china and other countries of Asia which are not developed. Our Problem lies with our politicians because of them only, guys like us leave India and serve other foreign land. People are really uneducated and politicians make them remain uneducated so that they do not cast their vote to a right person who is educated enough to decide whats right and wrong for the country. They are continuously making more and more money to remain in power throught their life and then their son and daughters. No proper guy can enter politics because politicians want bad ones only who can help them in their misdeeds. Ya, I believe some people including me are also responsible for Indias backwardness but what can we do?? We cant live a comfortable living. Your Views:I am against a lot of American policies. Firstly, those who think India should follow America's footsteps in privatising everything to reduce government should think twice. Thanks to the government, we are receiving so many subsidies in everything we buy or spend on. It would be "so nice" if we had to pay $100 for a tooth filling, because of the privatisation boom, like the Americans do! The intent of America to attack Iraq to oust Saddam Hussain does not seem absolutely absurd. But it certainly is hypocritical, that America chooses to flay Iraq in the name of "War against terror" while completely ignoring Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, just because these wag their tails and obey America everytime, or are too profitable to America otherwise. Its time we dealt with our problems and not complain to the US like a child. US is never going to understand the situation in Kashmir, unless someone bombs their own buildings and gives them a taste of the insecurity and fear which Kashmiris feel everyday. But having said that, we too sound hypocritical blaming Pakistan for everything, when our own government continues to shelter extremists of the VHP.

Your Views:All nations are driven by selfish interests America is no exception. The country has always followed policies which have helped further her intersts.their aligning with pakistan is once again keeping their own personal intersts in mind. Many of american policies have been shortsighted and have backfired upon the country say in afghanistan, vietnam etc.In its attempts to secure its own interests america has often aligned with dictatorial regimes they even backed saddam hussein in the 80's such decisions of theirs have often led to mass killings in the third world countries like nicaragua phillipines vietnam etc.The hatred against america emanates from such countries she calls herself the champion of democracy and freedom but americans need to look within and recognize their hipocrisy.Calling saddam hussein a evil man will not help(condolleza rice)attacking iraq will not solve any problem. Ofcourse 9/11 can never be justified and will always be remembered as one of the most barabarous terrorist attacks in the history of the world but after this attack if only history remebers america as a nation that showed the world the right way the road to truth and justice will america suceed.

Your Views:Who gives the right to US to do what they did after 9/11? Arrogance is the word. How can they justify all the common people in Afghanistan on whose head they dropped bombs along with ration supplies to silence the growing unpopularity and aggression against US. I am not saying US deserved 9/11 but US of A should definitely learn from their mistakes and not stick their head in every pot. We Indians I agree have behaved and are still behaving like the other end of the rod by not taking any action to all the atrocities committed on our land and on our people. America has no values, no tradition, no customs. Whatever they have is all superficial and we get to watch it discovery/hitory channel. There is nothing in India that these people have and what I would trade for..Well..I should probably say nothing except money/comfort of living...Given the population, economy and many other existing -ve factors in our country there is no easy solution to fixing our problems. The only solution is time and hope that we can make a difference. How would you justify that the Indian Govt pays for your education and you pay taxes to US Govt? U owe India big time and atleast don't redicule her.

Your Views:If America deserved 9/11 because of it's Middle East policies, then we deserve Rajiv's assasination for our intervention in Sri Lanka, Indira's for operation Bluestar and that of our brave soldiers and innocent countrymen for wrongs, real or perceived that may have been committed in Kashmir and elsewhere where we have insurgencies. All those who defend it are by extension, defending terror as a legitimate instrument of dissent. As for lack of mandate to replace Saddam, by that same token, if Hitler were to exist today, wouldn't that apply to him as well? I can't believe folks on this forum are actually taking up cudgels against overthrowing a despot and justifying the use of terror to send a message when they have been victims of despots( Zia/Musharraf) and terror in Kashmir,Punjab and elsewhere. Why blame the Americans for their indifference on Kashmir? We stayed out of World War II because it didn't concern us directly. No one is a saint. It's perspective that changes. Bhagat Singh who threw a bomb in Parliament is a freedom fighter but the militants who attacked our parliament are terrorists. Please ponder upon these and draw saner conclusions instead of raging irrationally .

Your Views:Why is everybody talking about America not concerned about all the people dead in India? Why would they be? Are we concerned about our dead? Have we ever thought how come 10 people dead in Israel is world news and a 100 dead in India barely gets any coverage? That's because the world would start taking notice, when we start taking notice. Are we concerned about our dead? If so what have we done in the last 50 years so that the same incident doesnt get repeated. Just like we have 3 seasons every year we also have rail accidents which have over the years killed thousands, bomb explosions, state sponsored pogrom for ethnic cleansing(Punjab '84, Gujarat 2002), spurious liquor tragedies, rapes witnessed by lot of people with their hands crossed, buses falling into rivers, rivers washing away villages with thousands of people. Slowly we have become numb to the fact that if you are still alive you are one of the lucky ones. If we have that feeling about ourselves, how will the world not have that feeling. They cannot do candle light vigil every week for the dead Indians. We will have to start respecting every life that salutes the tricolor before we expect the world to salute us.

Pakistan sends militants and yet america is helping them. India thinks america is siva's Lingam and sucks up to it. what indians died on sept 11, only couple and vajpayee goes to condone with them!!! what about gujurat earthquake... what about the massacres...i think we should spend moment of silence for our indians who die of our poor political structure. Young countries like America and pakistan have some dictate on how we run our country. 90-95% of Iraqs army is destroyed...North Korea, Israel, Iran, China has huge biological weapons and yet why Iraq is the problem. just becoz america wants oil. I hope "kali maa" crushes america under her feet. India has survived for 5000yrs and will. I hope 500,000 kids in america die of their own bombing and see how they will react. poor 500,000 iraqi children answer them. how about our children here. USA Murdbad

Your Views:One attack on america a year back and still the whole world is mourning about it, but no one thinks about thousand who die everyday in other parts of the world. Well, more than America 9/11 should have been a lesson for India. US has been able to maintain its supremacy and dictate its terms to the world because of it's economic and military superiority. But we must remember that if we are dependent on the US then so is it on the rest of the world, afterall no man is an island. Whatever the consequences, at most US tries is to gather the world opinion but does it really care? All it is bothered about is its own people and interests. Then why should we? Let there be a war and a decision be made for once and all. If Pakistan is threatening with using nukes, then we also have the capability to wipe it out from the face of the world. How long will we tolerate its audcities? We have to show once at least that we are capable of taking our own decisions and actions rather than running to uncle sam evrytime we face a problem. If US really had to do something (as it did with afghanistan after 9/11 and is ready to do with Iraq) it would have done long ago. Its time for India to act.

We're a nation of lethargic, inert, passive, indifferent, submissive and sluggish people. These same attributes characterize every policy we've implemented since independence. How easy is it to blame it on the govt for our failure as a nation. I believe Kashmir is just one of our failures. Look inside the country and there are a hundred more...in fact more serious problems like poverty, illiteracy, corruption... We have fundamental problems here and we need a revolution of sorts to correct the situation. And to think of it, every generation is growing more indifferent than the previous(eg percentage of middle class voting in elections). We need to wake up from this slumber; start thinking beyond our households; and make a difference in the bigger scheme of things.

US better learn now. let them be aware that much of the world knows what their "quest for freedom" and "zeal for democrcy" is about. india stop supporting US or else get ready to get worse !!

The seed of devil was sown by itself until it struck, and the american woke to its worst nightmare. Today it needs dollars to support its so called "war on terrorism", the military sanctions on india and Pakistan have been lifted, to meet its own financial needs, what more proof does one want to take notice of its self vested policies. US does'nt care for anybody it has and will , whether its democrats or republicans have the same foreign policy, and as long as it does not stop this peeping toms acts, it would have to see more of the 9/11's.

To top that he suggest India to be restraint even when hundreds of people suffer from Paki terrorism each day. When the twin tower was destroyed Mr. Bush went to full fledged war but when our Parliament is attacked he advices India to be restrained. Well I dont blame him alone. On their part UK who is responsible for the Kashmir impasse is egging USA to bomb Iraq. Well Well Well, then how about bombing UK who captured our country and created havoc? Look at the way BBC glorifies themselves and USA. Their language is highly objectionable. They hardly consider India a country. They always blame India for the J&K for the terrorism! Your Views:India should not expect USA to solve its terrorism or any other problem for it. India has a terrible image problem. It's diplomats are horrible, and its PR with the world community muted. I have hardly seen any Indian spokesman come up tops when pitted against Pakistanis on TV. Pakistani diplomats are suave and ruthlessly lash out against India with half truths. India needs to put together a group of aggressive people together who can counter Pak propaganda and sell itself (Tinku Varadarajan is one). Even Musharraf's lashing out of India at the UN went on unrebutted. It's a shame that Pakistan which has committed one of the worst genocides in the past century should have the gall to accuse India of atrocities! After all Pakistan has hardly any minorities so to speak (2% non Muslims). India loses out in the image game even with China when it comes to trade and commerce. What good is all this flaunting of 'English speaking' middle class when you lose out to even semi articulate Chinese? Lastly, but not least, India's press and liberal intelligentsia should be encouraged not to project an image of hopelessness.

It is definitely debatable as to whether the policy followed by the US in countries over the years are right or wrong. But what wrong did the guys in the Twin Towers do to deserve to die the way they did? Ask the child who was yet to be born and lost his father. Two wrongs don't ever make a right - they make a double-wrong! If one thinks that US has done all wrong then he should make himself powerful enough to take them headon. Laden was too much a coward to talk straight. He used his men and made them die. US doesnt need any strike-from-behind policy to do what they feel is right for them. 'cuz they r internally powerful! They dont care. If u have to fight, u have urself to be powerful!!! U cant change the world to ur liking. Will 9/11 stop US from doing what it thinks best? Your Views:The question has always been...what has America or the rest of the world done for the betterment of India. Maybe its the way we are built or the way we are treated by other nations but its not a satirical rhetoric to say that India is non-violent because of its own inabilities. There is no doubt that India has the power and the ability to benefit its best interests in all fields but asking others for help and veiling itself in shade of non-violence and non-agressiveness isnt the best way to solve its problems. Its true that people are treated as they want to be treated...nations are treated as they want/earn to be treated. There are countries all over the world tackling their own problems (including America) but what most countries do is fight their own battle. If India should learn anything from America after 9/11, its to stand up for itself and show the world that 'it will neither tolerate any acts of cowards'. Noone is to be blamed here except India. Everything said its true that America is the most powerful country & can do what most countries cannot think of doing. But that's what this is all about...no other country being stronger or influential when it comes to your safety.

In this civilised world the least basic needs are food, water, shelter and clothes. let's forget cloth, food, shelter(roads, clean air, hygiene etc...). I cannot leave out "Water". Do we have that good in India. Indian rulers have failed to provide even that. There are lots of people who work hard(forget the lazy guys), but their everyday worry is about Water. India should be ashamed. A country which fails to provide basic needs to Every Single Citizen, will be and always will be a third world country. 100s of immigrants come to U.S. U.S just wants them to be legal so that every one has their their basic needs fulfilled. This country is the heaven for immigrants in the whole world, I can bet. Indians just can say "we were invaded for 3000 years(bu.. sh..), but they had the country for 50 years what happened? nothing. We just learn to imitate jeans, coke, pubs, party, discotheque, pool bar, pizza, accent of english etc.. but there are lots of great things that can be learnt from U.S and the people there which for our convenience we try to avoid. (My heart only feels that India should also be a developed nation some day, because I was born Indian and I will die Indian).

Also, most Americans are patriotic and committed to achieving this uphill mission. Together we can and we will do it. United we Stand, thats what makes America the strongest nation in the world and where there is maximum freedom and opportunity for all. With President Bush waging the War against Terror, its only a matter of time that terrorism will be destroyed from the face of earth. God Bless America and Long Live President Bush! Other nations like India should learn lessons from the US and work harder on fighting against extremists. No more blood shed in the name of religion. Enough is enough. Why donot we remember victims of Jalianwalabagh, Indians who fought for British during second world war and like so other vicitms.
