Inquiry into Rajdhani Express accident ordered

The railway safety commissioner on Tuesday ordered a probe into the cause of the Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express derailment near Rafiganj in Bihar on Monday night.

The inquiry will be conducted by the safety commissioner for Eastern Railway in Kolkata and the commissioner has already reached the accident spot, official sources said.

Meanwhile, an ex-gratia compensation of Rs 25,000 will be paid to those injured in the accident.
