Congress to hold talks with
like-minded parties: Vaghela

The Congress on Tuesday said it would hold talks with like-minded parties for a tie-up in Gujarat assembly poll to prevent the Bharatiya Janata Party from returning to power.

Speaking to reporters in Vadodra, the Gujarat unit chief of the Congress, Shankersinh Vaghela, said: "It is time for secular forces to come together to defeat the BJP."

The party has appointed a committee to hold talks with various political parties, Vaghela said.
