Militants hurl bombs at railway station in UP

A station master and a porter escaped unhurt when three miscreants hurled crude bombs at them at Ramchaura railway station on the Allahabad-Lucknow section in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday night.

Station master Naresh Chandra and porter Meva Lal were standing outside Chandra's cabin when the incident took place. The bombs missed their target and exploded nearby.

Railway officials said the miscreants escaped and security has been beefed up at the station following the incident.
