Close circuit TV sets installed in Akshardham complex

Security at the 23-acre Akshardham Temple complex, which was stormed by terrorists on September 24, has been further strengthened with the installation of close circuit television sets.

The temple management decided to install CCTVs at various places to keep a watch on visitors.

The management also decided to doubled the height of the boundary wall from five feet, Swami Amritvadan said on Tuesday.

"We are satisfied with the present security arrangement with CRPF camping at the complex besides our own volunteers," he said.
