Manipur State Congress merges with BJP

Manipur State Congress president T Chauba Singh, Member of Parliament, on Thursday merged his party with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Singh, a former Union minister, who had quit the National Democratic Alliance at the height of the political crisis in Manipur, joined the party along with his colleagues in the presence of BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu.
