Man in Laloo's bedroom gives
ex-CM the scare of his life

Anand Mohan Sahay in Patna

A 50-year-old man who sneaked into Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi's official residence late on Friday night and entered her husband and former chief minister Laloo Prasad Yadav's bedroom has been arrested.

All police personnel on duty at the chief minister's 1, Anne Marg residence in Patna on Friday night have been suspended.

Arvind Kumar Kundan, a resident of Rajendra Nagar in Patna, told the police he was drunk that night and had no intention to harm the former chief minister or his family.

Laloo was shocked to find the man in his room in the dead of the night, an aide said. "He was not able to sleep after the incident. He was deeply disturbed by the lapse in his personal security," the aide said.
