Black box of Jaguar recovered

Indian Air Force authorities have recovered the black box of the Jaguar fighter aircraft that crashed in a residential area on the outskirts of Ambala Cantonment in Haryana on Tuesday, an official in Ambala said.

The black box was recovered from the near the debris of the two houses that were flattened following the crash.

Meanwhile, two more persons, a woman and a child, died on Wednesday raising the toll in the crash to six, an official said.

Ambala Sub-divisional Magistrate M K Ahuja said that Bimla and seven-year-old Parveen succumbed to their injuries in the Ambala military hospital.

The district administration will organise the cremation of the four persons -- Lajo and her daughter Aarti, Nirmala, and a 12-year-old boy on Wednesday.

The Haryana government has announced a relief of Rs 100,000 to the kin of the four killed, Deputy Commissioner D D Gautam said.

Gautam said that the administration would also bear the expenses for the treatment of the injured admitted in hospitals in Ambala and Chandigarh.

He also said that alternate temporary housing arrangements would be provided for the families whose houses were damaged in the crash.
