Militants kill four in Poonch

Militants gunned down four persons on Monday night near the Lassana Surankote village in the Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said militants opened fire from a close range on a vehicle in which relatives were carrying a dead body to the Chandak village.

"Four persons died on the spot while another was injured," a police officer said.

Earlier in the day militants hurled a grenade in the main market at Rajouri injuring 12 persons.

Four seriously injured persons were shifted to a hospital in Jammu.
