Militants kill 2 ITBP jawans in Anantnag

Militants shot dead two Indo-Tibetan Border Police personnel in Baramulla district of Kashmir on Saturday, police said.

Constables Girja Prasad and Surinder Singh were shot at point-blank range at Mirgund near Pattan on the Srinagar-Uri national highway, they said.

Paramilitary personnel immediately cordoned off the area and mounted search operations.
