VHP to review Ram temple movement at two-day meet

A two-day meeting of senior VHP functionaries would begin at Karsevakpuram in Ayodhya on Wednesday to review the Ram temple agitation and chalk out the future course of action.

The meeting, to be presided over by the outfit's international working president Ashok Singhal, would also take up the ongoing purnahuti yagya (religious ritual) for discussion, VHP's joint secretary Rajendra Singh Pankaj told reporters in Ayodhya.

Meanwhile, normalcy was restored in the twin cities of Faizabad and Ayodhya following resumption of train services late on Monday night.

However, only a few dozen karsevaks were seen at Karsevakpuram.

VHP sources said that the number of karsevaks arriving in Ayodhya has declined.
