Sattar ready to visit India to resolve tension

Pakistan Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar on Monday night said that he was prepared to travel to New Delhi for a dialogue to resolve the India-Pakistan border tension.

"For a solution, there needs to be a dialogue first," he told Zee TV, recalling his visit to India in 1987 when a similar situation had prevailed and he had been successful in his effort.

Sattar said that his effort would be to try and find a way out of the 'present difficulty' in the relations between the two countries. He favoured third party monitoring of the developments along the Line of Control.
