Balayogi's body brought to New Delhi

The mortal remains of Lok Sabha Speaker G M C Balayogi, who was killed in a helicopter crash in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, arrived in New Delhi on Monday morning on a special plane from Hyderabad.

The body was received at the Palam Technical Area by Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker P M Sayeed and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pramod Mahajan.

The body, draped in national colours, was later taken to Parliament House where MPs and other leaders will pay their last respects to the departed soul.

Union Minister of State Rajiv Pratap Rudy accompanied the body from Hyderabad. The body is likely to be flown back to Hyderabad later in the day for the last rites.
