Suspected Jaish terrorists nabbed in Cuttack

Three alleged terrorists suspected to be involved in the attack on the United States Information Service office in Kolkata have been arrested and police are probing their links with Jaish-e-Mohammed, which has been blamed for the attack.

A joint police team of Orissa and Kolkata arrested the suspects from the Pir Bazar area of Jagatpur locality in Cuttack on Friday evening, the police said.

The joint team is interrogating the trio.

Kolkata Police, meanwhile, are seeking permission of the Orissa high court to take them to the West Bengal capital for a thorough interrogation.

Police have identified the three suspects as Allaudin Khan, Mohammed Tahir Ali and Niyamat Baig.
