Maharashtra's DF govt to seek vote of confidence on June 13

Maharashtra's Democratic Front government would seek a vote of confidence on June 13, Chief Minister Vilas Deshmukh announced in Mumbai on Friday.

Governor P C Alexander had given the DF alliance, comprising Congress, NCP and some smaller parties, 10 days' time to prove its majority on the floor of the House after some legislators submitted letters withdrawing their support to the government.
