Your Views:Who are these people, mostly uneducated, family connections,no real talent,no real hard work, no education, what they have is nepotism and favoritism at work. And by the way these so called actors why they can't excel in anything else, besides bollywood trash? You should listen to these people when they open their mouth and try to say something intelligent, these crooks who dont pay taxes, should be flogged in the public. By the way the biggest benefactors are the "Bhaijaan" clan, the Khans, the Nadiadwalas, the Paki sympathisers. This is not new it is old cliche with new twist. So don't be surprised. These copycats garden or park dancers are as good as our white dhotis with little brains. So Indians deal with it, you want it you got it. Why cry foul now, this is your destiny, morons. You are stuck with this.

Your Views:One thing I realised is that these people are just professional actors. They dont deserve a single ounce of the adulation which they get. Man, I hate these kind of cheap goons who pretend both on and off the screen. We Indians, as usual should not be taken for a ride from every idiotic rascal who knows nothing but to deceive others. I think that is the reason why our country is not making any progress. We are taken for granted by everyone, and let this stop here today after seeing this incident. Because, a country is made of people and if everyone give these kind of impostors a damn we would never get the real freedom.

Your Views:The wheel has turned full circle. From Bollywood churning movies on Mafia to Mafia handing scripts to Bollywood and controlling the show. Glamour,Fame and moolah this is enough attraction to draw mafia to this industry. This is not the first instance of links being established between Bollywood and Mafia. Since Haji Mastan and Karim Lala's time these ties have been there. They had been on the lines of the adage 'Na kahu se dosti na kahu se bair' formal ties, a symbiotic relation with not much meddling in each other's arena. But what is sinister this time is the intimacy of the Mafia with these film personalities which is a very disturbing trend. Agreed that Film Personalities are very vulnerable to the terror tactics of Mafia but that should not be an excuse for them to be a part of it. It is high time that Govt who has so far turned a blind eye to this nexus acts. No matter what the clout of these persons tough action must be taken to send across a strong message. Mumbai Police should take this challenge as also their reputation enhancing exercise. They may as well set up a special cell for this purpose. Financing made easier and monitored. Let's hope for a happy ending for this drama as well.

See these people are getting daily life threatneing calls from underworld and we all know what is going to happen if we complain.. hahaha !! So its better to listen and do whatever underworld says!! This is a common man feels he doesn't feel safe under our POLICE or Politicians and underworld is taking benefit of this system. This is only under Politicians and Police to control this situation.

The mafia is not any seperate thing which can be seperated from the Bollywood as it was worstly spread within the country that one can't separate them with a little effort.

Your Views:Movie business is still not considered as an industry in its own right and they dont receive funds from lending institutions. This is surprising considering the fact that it would probably among the top 10 industries of India in terms of direct and indirect employment generation. At the same time, the costs of film making like any other costs are sky rocketing. A film maker would either have to shellout own money in this high risk gamble or borrow the money. Lending for high risk ventures would be easier for people who have lots of undisclosed (black) money. The Underworld has lots of undisclosed money and Indian headquarters for both the underworld and bollywood is Mumbai. This leads to a natural nexus between the two. The solution to this is to evolve a methodology to finance the movie industry and enforcing strict accounting norms on movie makers.

No one can sure that who is right & who is wrong. This is all due to such a handful of bad poeples. What's happening to our Indian Youth. What the hell is going wrong with our country. We need a major cleaness to remove this dust. The whole system of our inviroment is infected like computer virus. Thus same like computer virus , it is damaging our social values and our next generation. A full shame for those all poeple who is coperating with these bad guys. If you can't do good for anyone , then you did't have a right to do bad. And specially a very shame for Sanjay dutt. He is show that he is great lamers. His all life look like a garbage bunch. I will personally request to Police that hang this man till his death. He is wolf in the skin of cow. I have a great respect for his father. He is such a very nice man. And i am proud that our country have a man like him. And for the gangster of D-Company. If You can imagine how many peoples they are. Only a bunch of grapes.

Your Views:Yes, Bollywood can certainly be cleaned. If there is a wish there is a way. Surprisingly no one has the will power to break this tangle. So alone the law enforcing authorities and the judiciary can not do any thing. It goes beyond that. A political will power is very much needed. So putting a Shah behind bar for a year and a Dutt's tele conversation being made public is not the way to fight the menace. Only a concerted effort and strong will power can do the needful. Else such exercises will prove only as eye wash and will sully the image of the police and the judiciary, in special, further.

Your Views:We may now talk about the nexus between the two and how bad or good someone is in the film industry, but we also should not forget that they are after all humans to whom their life is precious as their star value, it is sheerly out of fear that they have done whatever the police and media are exposing. If their life wasn't at stake and they had felt that the police will safeguard them definitely they would have sought their help instead of heeding to the underworld terror, it is nothing but reign of terror the underworld has spread on the film industry, those who put their life at stake and go agaisnt them will definitely end up where Mr Gulshan Kumar has ended. Having said all this, I really don't know how to react to the stars who are caught up in this ugly nexus, they don't command the same respect in the eyes of the people they used to, it clearly shows that there exists no unity among the stars, they just want to be successful whether for that they stoop down to killing their own colleagues or put the others in fear, they forget that even they are sailing in the same boat and they will also be the target someday. they are nothing but fallen heroes now, in really pity them, can they?

Your Views:It is very very difficult to de link, unless and otherwise the people themselves break their ties with underworld. The recent tapes of Sanjay dutt clearly indicates that is not out of fear they are in touch. They are talking very friendly and if one want to finish their rivalry, they seek the help of underworld. Even these people can keep informed about the police at the same time they can be talking with them also, so that the police can trap them when appropriate time comes. It is very difficult to give protection 24 hrs at all places to them. When Amir khan was intimidated, he informed police. they should have faith in the police and their life styles also makes some of the people to have the underworld connections. In this case, it is very very clear, that sanjay has constant touch with them and also seeks help and also in turn aids them also, which is obvious. We should now seek international help also to deport these people who undermine the country. If there is a will to fight by the film community in toto it is possible to delink the mafia.

Your Views:Let us be clear: what are the charges, specifically, under the IPC? Mere associations with "baddies" (establishing which should be a separate case with a charge sheet) do notamount to guilt, and traces of the conversation yield circumstantial evidence, at best, to establish a working monetary relationship between the two parties (this must be illegal for sure, so it constitutes a financial offence not a criminal one). Just saying that Dutt etc talk to weirdos does not mean they are guilty of any crime. Looks like the entire industry runs on black money, so this is the real problem that has to be addressed. The social 'look look' demonization of individuals, and the snide references to religious loyalty etc, does not behoove a nation that claims the rule of law. How to solve the problem? Allow FDI. Set up a zero-licencing system for film financing. The only properly publicly-financed film in India was 'Gadar', an alleged love story which was claimed to be in the 'national interest'. Does the market want more of this genre of supposed 'love' stories? I doubt it. Officially sanctioned films might mean state interference in the operation of the free market, which will spell DOOM.

There has to be a body which governs into the authenticity of the financial implications a project/film entails. The authenticity of a person who wishes to make a film must be srutinized before he embarks on a project.Regional bodies shall represent the various states who report into the Main Corporate Body.Similarly the Censor Board must be a Central body along with its regional peers.People from various walks of life must be a part of the Central governing body.No political leader must be a team member in this body.Industrialists, bankers,Information Tech ,Social workers, even working class must be a part of this Body. With this even the money lost due to piracy can be tracked.A fixed amount must be donated to institutions like the NSD,Pune Film institute to nurture talent available in the country.Written contracts must be in order & stringent action must be taken in case an individual breaks the contract.

Recently I read in press that Ministers,MLAs and other so called civilized people, have not paid electricity Bills in U.P.and under the cover politician they are let out. This is a classic example how our elected representative teaches the people and they have no dicipline at all. Shri PC Alexander has declared his assets while filing the nomination for Rajya Sabha. Why our other political parties are against EC's directive. This means they have made crores of rupees. While reading papers I noticed that all ex PM's are still keeping their Govt.residences. In the case of Shri KRN he has his own beautiful house near Delhi but he opted for accommodation near Parliament House. These people always talk about Country's progress but they are caring only for their families progress and decent living without paying any tax to Govt. We should have a constitution amendment covering all these facts.

I feel the tape has shown to what extent the underworld has spread in the film industry, i feel its up to the law to act the way sanjay acted in one of his flims go to their places confess their crime and kill them on spot that's the only option felt, even after been sent to jail this idiot actor hasen't learnt anything so its time to show him what it is to go against the law. I would be real happy if they punish him and for once i repeate for once in a life time let the people of india know what actually happnes here after, normally things like this r not open to the common people of india, who deserve to know what's happning.

Your Views:The entire nexus has nothing to do with the mafia qua mafia. The mafia is not in love with the film industry. It could well have been the moneylenders of Kalbadevi. It has to do with unaccounted money. So long as there are avenues to generate unaccounted money, agricultural income being a case in point, there will be any number of people who will try to deal in and generate unaccounted funds. I would myself, given the chance. Why not, if I can avoid paying taxes? The entire tax structure should be revamped to make expenditure, not income, taxable. Once that happens there will be such thing as unaccounted funds. All expenditure will be taxed so it does not matter if people keep their money in their beds or pooja rooms like Sukh Ram or in a bank. And all taxes will be indirect with emphasis on progressive taxation on more expensive expenditure.

Your Views:Mafia will always exist as long as money exists. But this does not mean that we should do away with bollywood. The concentration should be on making life difficult for the outlaws.T his may be achieved by developing a proactive police force. And also developing a state of the art intelligence force. In the extreme cases we should also go in for a proactive strike force...like executing the lawbreakers when they get too smart and cosmopolitan and begin staying in other countries. The resources should be focused on catching the big fish...instead of trying to fry the tuna. Get the leader and the gang disappears... However, how does one decide who the leader is. Its actually quite simple...ask any average indian..the whole world knows...except for those who ought to know..Its the indian politician...they are the breeding ground for the ,mafia..for our country's misery. They need the gallows...and the country's youth knows it..wonder how long it will take to come...?

Your Views:Yes you have to cleanup not bollywood alone but the entire soceity. What should worry everyone is the rot that is set in all walks of life- profiting by associating with criminals/gangsters - after all bollywood is also a part of the soceity; more glitzy. Isnt it true everyone from panwalas to Pajero driving millionares use those contacts and gain from that? Why singling the showguys alone? Its true they glorify but the impact on the soceity at large is very small because of that; real problem is people because of complex legal systems and poor co-operation from law enforcers try to ge the disputes sorted out through those gangsters knowingly or unknowingly. What's sad is its not only Sanjay Dutt who has spend good part of an year in jail is unrepentant but taking more people to them. It shows the amount of impact the underworld's role is having and benefits of using such system. Sanjay Dutt is visible case but there many many invisible ones cutting deals and hitting others using the same gangs. the cleanup should occur through friendly and caring law enforcers/ment.

Your Views:There seem to be two major (and many minor) reasons for these contacts. 1. Lack of official funding system available in Bollywood. If Financial Institutions are allowed to fund the film makers officially, tendency of needy filmmakers to reach these contact may reduce to a great extent. But it can't be removed totally. Beside Funding, these film makers also get protection from local 'gundas' once they are associated with 'Donbhai' 2. Want to be a superstar. As a wise film viewer can analyze, certain stars are found to be casted 'repeatedly' in the films originated from a particular group of people. We can see a 'zabardasti' from underworld people to support these stars. Stars like 'SD' seem to be in top 5 for no reasons, due to such pressure. 'Chiknya' seem to have no good movies in hand due to his lack of contacts. Only we the viewers can teach a lesson by 'banning' stars like 'SD' who seem to own a responsibility of total Bollywood and security of top actresses of it. Good stars like 'Sunny' has to start his own banner to act in movies. Don't you think finally we are suffering by watching start cast decided by DON ? Are we not refrained from seeing good actors & actresses ?

Your Views:First of all the it should be made mandatory to film producers to disclose all the details of the money that they invest in the movies compulsorily. The IT dept should take stern steps to verify the income source of these film stars, producers and related people. Before giving certificate to any movies prior to its release the producer should produce the detailed expenditure on the movie including the remuneration given to the artists involved in it. A seperate commitee should be formed consisting of IT officials, legal and financial experts and film sensor board members to monitor all these before giving permission to the release of such movies. Film industry sould be given industry status and the film producers should be given loans by nationalised banks to make sensible and good movies. The film artists should form a forum to protest any atrocities on their colleagues and fight any threats unitedly. They should stop mudthrowing on one another and should think film industry is one big family and feel any threat to any member is a threat to the family as a whole. Aaj uski bari hain, kal thera bi aayegi, kya patha. Saithaan ka koi bharosa nahi, hai na?
