Lashkar responsible for attack: J&K DGP

Pakistan-based militant outfit Lashkar-e-Tayiba is responsible for the attack in Jammu that left 27 persons dead on Saturday, Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police A K Suri said on Sunday.

"There was definite information that the Lashkar has been planning attacks in Jammu," he said.

Suri said the militants who carried out the attack could not have left Jammu and must be in its vicinity.

"We will make all efforts to nab them as early as possible," he said.
