Centre-NSCN (I-M) talks confined to Nagaland: Manipur CM

The peace talks between the Centre and the underground NSCN (I-M) were confined only to Nagaland, Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh told the state assembly on Monday.

As per the information obtained by the state government, the central government and the NSCN (I-M) were holding peace talks and no one was representing Manipur in the deliberations, the chief minister said in reply to a question from N Sovakiran (Federal Party of Manipur).

Official sources said representatives of the Centre and NSCN (I-M) would resume peace talks on Monday, at Amsterdam.
